PM Scholarship for Defence Personnel
The Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) is implemented by the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare. It provides scholarships to dependent wards and widows of ex-servicemen and serving personnel for professional degree courses.
Scholarship Amount
- Boys: Rs 2,500 per month
- Girls: Rs 3,000 per month
- Duration: 1 to 5 years depending on course
Eligibility Criteria
Wards/widows of Ex-Servicemen, Ex-Coast Guard personnel, and their dependents pursuing professional courses. Minimum 60% marks in qualifying exam.
Benefits
